Julia Tops’ Strong Showing in Junior Nations Cup

Last week was the Nations Cup week at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. Not only was there a Senior Nations Cup event, but also a Young Riders, Junior Young Riders, and Children’s Nations Cup! Calgary’s Julia Tops was named to the Junior Young Riders team for Canada, where she finished 7th individually in the week-long championship event with Zeidler Farms’ Castillio. Well done!

Canada's Young Show Jumping Stars Set to Compete
at CSIO4* Winter Equestrian Festival

Ottawa, Ont., Feb. 25, 2015 - Jump Canada has announced the Canadian Young Rider, Junior, and Children's riders who will be competing during week eight of the CSIO4* Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Fla. from Feb. 25 to March 1.

Held annually in Wellington, Fla., the WEF series features 12 weeks of world-class show jumping competition that attracts riders from 33 countries to compete for over $8 million in prize money. Week eight is a highlight of the series, as it puts the spotlight on the up-and-coming young stars of the sport through the Hollow Creek Farm Children's, Junior and Young Rider Nation's Cups.
